COVID-19 Museum Operations Update

Mel Fisher Maritime Museum is a vital part of the Key West community for nearly 40 years. It takes its social responsibility to research, inspire, and educate very seriously.

Out of an abundance of caution for the community, visitors, staff, and volunteers and based on the recommendations of the governmental agencies will temporarily close beginning Friday, March 20, 2020. This a precautionary measure in line with other Florida attractions, and the intent is to reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.

We are closely monitoring the updates around the Coronavirus threat. We will stay in touch with you via our Facebook page and remain committed to resuming operations shortly.
