Classes meet one day a week for six weeks.

MARINE SCIENCES:

How can you help save coral reefs? Join us to learn sbout the reef ecosystem and how you can protect the reef. During this active class you will create and implement reef-saving measures.

TUESDAYS 3:30 - 5:00 PM

AGES: 2ND - 5TH GRADE

FEE: $90/ $80 FOR MUSEUM MEMBERS

ART:

Art of the compass rose. Explore the ornate beauty of the compass rose through a variety of mediums, including watercolors, printmaking, and collage.

WEDNESDAYS 3:30 - 5:00 PM

AGES: 2ND - 5TH GRADE

SCIENCE OF SHIPWRECKS:

How do archaeologists work underwater? From mapping the ocean floor to communicating underwater, learn the tools for working underwater.

Inca art. The growth of the Spanish Empire and the ancient Inca culture are strongly linked. Come explore the culture of the Incas while creating your won Inca-inspired art.

What kind of ship was lost at sea? From unearthing artifacts, to mapping the site, learn how to conduct archaeological excavations.
