Artifacts and exhibitions from the museum travel internationally. Because shipwrecks are time capsules, containing all the details of daily life, many of the objects in the collection are one-of-a-kind. Ranging from extravagant jewelry to humble frying pans, these objects reveal the lives of real people, their passions and tragedies.

The Society’s shipwrecks have been featured in various books and magazines, including several issues of National Geographic. Most recently the Society has been featured in TV specials on The History Channel and The Learning Channel.
