The story of Mel Fisher's treasure-hunting adventures and 16-year quest for the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha will be told Thursday on the History Channel.

The network is airing a four-day miniseries about gold through Friday. The
Mel Fisher segment will be shown at 9 p.m. Thursday.

"Gold!" focuses on every aspect of the precious metal throughout time, and will air in 60 countries.
