Muggle Studies I: Wind

Mon, Feb 18th Let’s capture the wind for flight. Turtle Cannery Museum at the Key West Bight. $35 includes box lunch & snack. Suggested ages 7-10. 9 am-3:30pm. Aftercare available.

Muggle Studies II: Stars

Fri, March 1st Discover the art and science of navigating the night sky by your naked eye. All ages. Museum Courtyard. $5 per child. Parents free. 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Muggle Studies III: Sea Turtles

Tues, April 23 Discover what’s involved in studying the care of these magical creatures. Turtle Cannery Museum at the Key West Bight. $5 per child. Parents free. 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Spring Break & Summer Camp Programs

March 25 -18, 2013 . June 10-13, 2013 . June 17-20, 2013 . June 24-27, 2013 . July 1-5, 2013* No Class 4th of July

9am – 3:30pm School’s out but there’s still plenty of fun things to learn! Guided explorations and experiments will keep kids engaged and active. Families invited to tour a special exhibit at the Mel Fisher Museum documenting the adventure. $165 per session includes box lunch & snack. Aftercare available. Recommended ages 7-10 and 10-12.

Night at the Museum

Fri, Aug 9th The museum comes alive with projects, experiments, and adventures. 5pm -9 pm. $35 includes evening meal

‘Traveling Through Time’ In-School Programs
Oceans, Beads, and the Slave Trade – How Science Helps Us Reveal History

This three-part series of activities brings the museum into the classroom with hands-on activities, presentations, and a special ticket for a visit to the museum with the student’s family.
