"LAS VEGAS CASINO NIGHT 2001"
SET FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 27
A Las Vegas Casino Night
benefiting the public education programs of the Mel
Fisher Maritime Museum has been set for Friday, April 27 at the Wyndham Casa Marina
Resort.
Concrete Kingpin Paul Toppino, chair of the event, invites local
businesses to make donations for this tax-deductible cause. The education programs at the Mel Fisher
Museum reach hundreds of young people, as well as adults, in Monroe County each year.
The Museum has also partnered with the Monroe County School District in its
21st Century Learning program, an after-school program for area students, kindergarten
through eighth grade.
Anyone wishing to donate an item for the auction or prizes should call Lisa
Petrone at 294-2633, extension 28.
Tickets for the event are $100 per person and include a buffet dinner, $10 in
gaming chips, entertainment and a live auction. Grand prize for the person amassing the
most "chips" is a Las Vegas vacation at the Aladdin Resort and Casino.
Toppino says he's prepared to make everyone "an offer they can't refuse" to
participate in this benefit. Make your plans to join Paul and the Mel Fisher
gang(sters) on Apri127th. It's sure to be a "hit!" |
